The Bill Huber, Jr. Trio will perform at the historic Neilltown Church Building on Sunday, June 28. The free concert begins at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The church building was constructed in 1842 and was recently rehabilitated. It is located 1/2 mile off Route 227 four miles east of Pleasantville, PA. On concert days a sign marks the turn from Route 227 to the church building. Experienced concert-goers take either a lawn chair or seat cushion.
Additional concerts will be held on July 26 and feature the Clarion Dulcimer Club; August 23 with the Pine Valley Boys; and September 13, an "Autumn Praise" concert by Pony Farm Road. All concerts begin at 2 p.m.
The concert is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through the PA Partners in the Arts (PPA), its regional funding partnership. State government funding for the arts depends upon an annual appropriation by the PA General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Elk County County on the Arts.
