One of the strengths of the Oil Region is the diversity of the job opportunities our market offers. Historically, manufacturing has always been a prominent industry in the Oil Region, reflecting the highly skilled and motivated labor supply in the region. Private sector employment services and retailing are also very prominent in the Oil Region and reflect a diverse, growing economy. Below is a list of the major employers in the Oil Region, including Cranberry, Franklin, Oil City and Titusville.
